Challah

Challah, meaning “offering” in Hebrew, is traditional Jewish bread served on the Sabbath, holidays, ceremonial occasions and for everyday consumption. It’s rich with eggs and has a light, airy texture. The three strands of the braid represent truth, peace, and justice.
